Iniciativas inovadoras e Primeira Infância: o desenvolvimento de programas

Resumo

A primeira infância (0-6 anos) é um período sensível do desenvolvimento com grande plasticidade cerebral e modificabilidade cognitiva. Iniciativas inovadoras para promover o desenvolvimento infantil devem ser avaliadas. No Brasil, verifica-se ainda uma lacuna relativa à avaliação da eficácia e efetividade de soluções inovadoras para a primeira infância para implementação em larga escala nas políticas públicas. O Laboratório de Inovação da Primeira Infância apoiou projetos inovadores baseados no IDEAS Impact Framework. Esta é uma abordagem para a criação de programas de intervenção envolvendo a teoria da mudança com os efeitos esperados, o desenvolvimento de materiais e o plano de avaliação. Os testes de viabilidade do programa devem ser realizados em ciclos rápidos e repetidos. No estudo piloto o programa é aplicado em pequena escala para avaliar se funcionou e para quem e em que contexto funcionou. Antes de implementar programas em larga escala recomenda-se avaliar sua viabilidade, aceitabilidade e eficácia.
